Post Graduate Degree in basic
science or Graduate / Post Graduate
Degree in Professional Course
selected through a process described
through any one of the following:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISER, etc.
Payscale: ₹ 31000
HRA: 16%
Medical Facility: As per IIT Guwahati Norms
Duration of
Appointment: 3 Months*
* Project Duration is for 3 Years. Appointment may be extended based on performance and Fund availability.

The candidates who are already employed under Central/State Govt./ PSU/ Autonomous Bodies/
Private Organization etc. will have to submit a No-objection Certificate (NoC) from the concerned
employer in advance or at the time of interview failing which the candidate will not be allowed to
appear for an interview/join the project.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed via e-mail on 17th October 2021 about the mode of online interview.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the test and interview.
